The Midwest Independent Film Festival 
Tthe nation's only film festival solely dedicated to the Midwest filmmaker, presenting audiences with regionally produced independent cinema every first Tuesday of the month at Landmark Century Centre Cinema/

Chicago Filmmakers 
Chicago Filmmakers is a 37 year-old media arts organization that fosters the creation, appreciation and understanding of film and video as media for artistic and personal expression, as well as media of important social and community impact. CF offer presents screenings of work by independent filmmakers; and offers offers college-level classes in film and video production. All classes are taught by highly qualified professionals and provide hands-on instruction for beginners and professionals alike. 

Chicago Final Cut Pro Users' Group 
Anot-for-profit organization dedicated to the education and development of its members through the exchange of ideas, knowledge and experience. We focus not only upon the Final Cut Pro software but on other video editing, compositing and authoring software/hardware in the professional video, broadcast, event videography and prosumer markets in the Chicagoland area. 

Chicago Cinema 4D 
Chicago C4D is one of the most active Cinema 4D user groups in the world. We bring Cinema 4D users together face to face in Chicago to present new work, visit local studios, find jobs,and drink beer.

Reel Chicago
For Chicago visual media professionals, who create and produce content in all forms and genres for iPod to IMAX screens. we have been chronicling Chicago visual media industry since 1979. Our original Screen Magazine, Chicago’s first film publication, forged a community where none had existed before. In 2004 we crossed the threshold to the limitless world of the web to bring you ReelChicago.com.

Chicago International Film Festival 
Cinema/Chicago, the presenting organization of the Chicago International Film Festival, is a year-round non-profit cultural and educational organization dedicated to fostering better communication between people of diverse cultures through the art of film and the moving image.

Chicago Underground Film Festival 
The Chicago Underground Film Festival is an annual event showcasing independent, experimental and documentary films from around the world. Unlike many other “independent” film events our goal is not to imitate old guard, market-driven events such as Sundance but Instead to focus on the artistc, aesthetic and fun side of independent filmmaking.

We strive to support filmmakers by showcasing passionate independent filmmakers who show exceptional work through comedy.

Independent Feature Project (IFP)/Chicago
IFP Chicago is a non-profit organization committed to the idea that independent film is an important art form and a powerful voice in our society. We provide resources, information and avenues of communication for independent filmmakers, industry professionals and independent film enthusiasts.

Facets
Facets, founded in 1975, is a leading national media arts organization. Their mission is to transform lives through the power of world, classic, and independent film. They curate, present, and engage others in exploring the art of film. 

  • Facets Videotheque maintains an unparalleled movie rental library of 65,000 titles, available to rent in person or by online nationwide mail-order.
  • Facets Cinematheque presents daily screenings of cutting-edge independent films, international film festival award-winners, and Chicago premieres—many of which would otherwise not be screened in Chicago. Facets Film Dialogues connect audiences to filmmakers and other individuals behind the films.
